Juice from a juicer for kidney stones

It has been known for a long time that freshly squeezed fruit juices have antioxidant properties. They help the body get rid of excess toxins accumulated in it. However, their most surprising property is the ability to remove kidney stones.

Nephrolithiasis is an ailment consisting in the formation of deposits of oxalate, calcium phosphate, sometimes also uric acid, magnesium ammonium phosphate, or even cystine in the urinary system, which as a result of various disorders remained in an undissolved form. Since the kidneys are responsible for removing unnecessary products of metabolism from the blood and maintaining electrolytes and water at the correct level, in case of crystal formation in them, abnormal outflow of urine occurs, which consequently disturbs the work of the entire body.

Kidney stones - causes of formation

In most cases of patients it is not possible to clearly determine the cause of the ailment. Nevertheless, it can be observed that deposits in the urinary system are more common in people who:

  • take too little liquids (mainly water),
  • eat too much meat,
  • overuse salt,
  • have a diet low in vegetables and fruits,
  • are burdened with genetic defects.

As a result of improper nutrition, crystals may form in the kidneys, which make it difficult or even impossible to remove toxins as unnecessary products of metabolism and accumulate inside the organs, leading to their dysfunction, and eventually even failure. Over time, the deposits begin to cause burning pain when trying to urinate, and in some cases, nausea and vomiting.

Treatment methods for kidney stones

In 50% of cases of people who have had stones in their kidneys, it is an episodic ailment that never recurs again. This is usually the result of a change in dietary style, taking appropriate medications and regular follow-up with a urologist. In other cases, recurrences occur every 5 to 10 years.

In such a situation, it is necessary to conduct a detailed study, which usually ends with the prescription of appropriate drugs that allow for effective treatment. Since these substances are not indifferent to the body and may cause a number of unexpected side effects, it is worth using alternative methods of non-pharmacological treatment.

Fruit juices - a non-pharmacological way to fight kidney stones

One of the most effective natural ways to help remove deposits from the urinary system is to drink grapefruit and aloe vera juice. The recipe was published in 2003 in The Scientific Principles and Practices of Herbal Medicine.

Ingredients:

Aloe vera leaf pulp
1/2 cup grapefruit juice (100 ml)
2 tablespoons of honey (50 g)

Grapefruit and aloe vera should be blended, and then add honey. It is worth remembering at the same time not to heat the juice prepared in such a way to the temperature above 40 degrees Celsius because then the honey will lose all valuable health-promoting properties.

Fresh juice from mango, cantaloupe, orange and grapefruit can bring equally spectacular effects. It has antioxidant properties and perfectly supports the body in getting rid of accumulated toxins in it.

Ingredients:

1/2 mango
1 orange
1 grapefruit
